French & Belgian POWs

Over 25,000 French & Belgian  POWs were held in Stalag 18A or its related Work Camps. Most had been captured in France in 1940.

Chantal Tinader, daughter of Leon Tinader,  has sent the following group of photographs. Some of them were probably taken at a Work Camp in Strechau (416/GW?). The three photos showing the funeral appear to have been taken at Stalag 18A in Wolfsberg.
